Drum Circle
Join our drum circle held every Thursday evening at 49 Peninsula Road, Zeekoevlei from 5:30 – 6:30pm. Cost R120.00. Drums are provided free of charge should you not yet have your own. Booking is essential to ensure we have drums for everyone.

Drumming Course
We also run a four week Introductory Course to djembe drumming as part of Bergvliet High School’s continuing education programme.
Learn how to play the djembe drum in this fun-filled course! You will learn how to hold the drum; the positions on the drum for the various ‘notes’; some simple and slightly more challenging rhythms and solos; how to read our drum notation and finally how to tighten and care for the drum. Drums are provided for use during the course but we also have drums for sale should you wish to purchase your own
The next course is being run on Tuesday evenings from 10 February – 2 March 2026 from 18:30 to 20:00.

Private Tuition
We also offer Private Tuition should you prefer a one on one lesson. You would learn traditional rhythms and solos at your own pace. The lesson is an hour long but may be changed to suit your requirements and don’t worry if you don’t yet have a drum of your own as one will be provided free of charge for use during the class.
